Welcome to the web presence of the Gahanna, Ohio American Legion Post #797. One of the fastest growing Legion Posts in Ohio, and one of the few to work hand in hand with their counterpart organization, the Veterans of Foreign Wars. The two Posts are co-located on land owned by VFW Post #4719, next to Veterans Memorial Park of Gahanna. This is also located directly across Granville Street from the Creekside City Center, a development becoming well known for its annual Jazz and Blues Festival.

Since our charter in 2002, our American Legion Post has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, with over 500 members, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community. Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for our country, friends and families.
